Alice Bazdikian on the Small Business Show panel discussing AI for small business owners

On Stage · Small Business Show Panel

Bringing real AI workflows, not hype, to the rooms that need them most.

Why event organizers book me

Most AI talks leave audiences smarter, and exactly where they started.

Your audience doesn't need another "AI is going to change everything" deck. They need someone who's installed AI into 200+ actual small businesses and can translate it, live, into their workflows.

01

Built for non-technical rooms

No code. No jargon. No Silicon Valley case studies. Every example is a small or mid-size business that looks like the people in your room, so the lessons actually transfer.

02

Every attendee leaves with a workflow

Not a handout. Not a QR code to a PDF. An actual AI prompt, tool, or mini-automation they can run Monday morning, demoed live, with the exact words to say.

03

Translator between technical & business

15+ years as a business analyst, project manager & operations lead before becoming an AI educator. I turn "LLM context windows" into "this is how you stop rewriting the same email 40 times a week."

Signature talks

Four keynotes. Each one ends with something built.

Pick the one that fits your audience, or we'll build a custom version on our planning call.

Keynote · 45–60 min

AI Without the Overwhelm

Best for: associations, chambers, mixed-industry audiences

The 11pm-Googling-AI-tools talk. Why most owners are stuck, why adding 30 more tools won't fix it, and the 3-step method 200+ owners use to finally ship their first AI workflow. Ends with a live build.

Your audience walks away with

  • The A.I.R. Method (Ask → Implement → Run) on a one-pager
  • One working AI prompt tailored to their industry
  • A "first Monday" action list (3 moves, 2 hours each)
45–60 min 50–500 attendees Virtual or in-person
Workshop keynote · 90 min

The A.I.R. Method for Small Business

Best for: business owner cohorts, founder networks, mastermind retreats

A hands-on working session. Your audience opens their laptops. We build one AI automation together, using each attendee's actual business, in real time. By the end, something that didn't exist at 9am is running by noon.

Your audience walks away with

  • 1 live AI workflow built into their own business
  • The prompt library I use with paying clients
  • A 30-day implementation roadmap for their next 2 automations
90 min Up to 60 attendees (laptops required) Virtual or in-person
Leadership keynote · 45 min

Your Team Is Already Using AI. They Need a Policy.

Best for: executive teams, leadership retreats, corporate offsites

The talk nobody wants to hear, and every leader needs to. Your team is pasting client data into random AI tools right now. This session lays out the real compliance risk, the 5-piece AI governance framework, and how to roll it out without killing adoption.

Your leadership team walks away with

  • A draft AI-use policy tailored to your industry
  • A 5-piece governance framework (tools, data, review, training, risk)
  • A 90-day team rollout plan
45–60 min Exec team / all-hands Virtual or in-person
Founder keynote · 60 min

From 50-Hour Weeks to 3 AI Automations in 30 Days

Best for: solopreneur summits, founder meetups, service-business conferences

A case-study-led keynote. I walk through exactly how I (and 200+ owners after me) cut 10–15 hours/week off our calendars with 3 specific automations, shown live, with the prompts, tools, and timelines. The "how," not the "why."

Your audience walks away with

  • The 3 highest-ROI AI automations for service businesses
  • The exact prompts I use (copy-pasteable)
  • A self-audit to find their 10+ hours/week before dinner
60 min + Q&A 50–500 attendees Virtual or in-person

For event organizers

The 8 questions every organizer asks.

What's your speaking fee?

My fee varies by format, audience size, and travel. Keynotes start at $3,500. Workshop keynotes and half-day trainings start at $5,000. Full-day leadership intensives start at $9,500. Reach out and I'll send a custom quote within 48 hours.

Do you travel? Where are you based?

I'm based in Toronto, Canada. I travel across Canada and the United States for half-day or larger engagements, travel is billed separately at cost (economy air + one night hotel). For 45-min keynotes I usually prefer virtual unless your event is in Ontario or a flight-hub city.

Can you customize the talk to my audience?

Always. Every booking includes a 30-minute planning call where we tailor the opening story, industry examples, live-demo use case, and Q&A focus to your specific audience. You're not getting the same canned deck I gave last month.

What tech / AV do you need on site?

HDMI or USB-C connection to the main screen, a lav mic (preferred) or handheld, reliable internet (I do live AI demos, this matters), a confidence monitor if possible, and a table nearby for my laptop. I bring my own clicker.

What's the guarantee exactly?

You run a post-event attendee survey (I'll provide the template). If the weighted average rating on "How valuable was this session?" comes in below 4.5/5, you pay nothing. No negotiation. No fine print. I've never had to honor it, but it's real.

How much lead time do you need?

For a custom keynote: ideally 6–8 weeks. For a workshop or half-day: 8–10 weeks. Can I pull off a 2-week turnaround? Sometimes, but custom content quality drops, so I only recommend it for audiences where my standard talks already fit.

Can we record and reuse the session?

Yes, internal re-use by your organization or attendees is included. Public distribution (YouTube, podcast clipping, paid replay events) is negotiated separately and usually priced as an add-on to the fee.

What happens after I submit the booking request?

Within 48 hours you get: availability confirmation, a custom quote, and a short discovery call booked. If we're a fit, a contract lands within another 48 hours. Then we move to the planning call 3–4 weeks before the event to nail the content.
