Meet Alice

Most business owners don't have an AI problem.
They have a noise problem.

Every day, you're told there's another AI tool you have to try. Another workflow that will "change everything." Another guru promising you can automate your business overnight.

As a busy service business owner, you don't need more AI content. You need someone to help you separate signal from noise.

That's why I started Small Business AI Coach. Not to teach every AI tool on the market. To help you understand what's actually worth your time.

My story

Why I'm probably different from other AI coaches

Most AI educators start with technology. I start with the business.

Before I ever taught AI, I spent more than twenty years helping organizations improve operations through analytics, business intelligence, SaaS, customer success, and project management.

Across every role, one thing became obvious. Technology isn't usually the problem. People are overwhelmed by too many tools, too many systems, and too many competing priorities. AI has only amplified that.

That's why I don't believe your business needs another list of prompts or another collection of shiny new AI tools. You need clarity. Where AI fits. Where it doesn't. And where it will actually save you time.

My philosophy

My philosophy is simple.

You'll never hear me say you should automate everything, because I don't believe that's the goal. The goal is to automate everything that doesn't require your judgment.

Your expertise. Your client relationships. Your ability to make decisions. Those are your competitive advantage. AI should amplify them, not replace them.

AI should remove repetitive work, not your humanity.

What I believe

Three principles behind every recommendation

Less hype.

I don't chase every AI announcement. If it isn't useful for a small service business, I'll probably tell you to ignore it.

More ROI.

Every recommendation has one goal: save time, increase capacity, improve client experience. If it doesn't do one of those three, it probably isn't worth implementing.

Practical always wins.

I'd rather help you automate one workflow that saves five hours every week than teach fifty prompts you'll never use.

Working with me

What it's like working with me

I won't overwhelm you with jargon. I won't tell you AI is going to replace your business. And I definitely won't recommend twenty new tools every week.

Instead, we'll look at your business together and ask questions like:

  • What's repetitive?
  • What's slowing your team down?
  • What still requires your judgment?
  • What's the fastest win?

Then we'll build practical AI systems around the answers. Simple. Useful. Actually implemented.

A little more about me

The part most about pages start with

Outside of AI, I'm endlessly curious. I love understanding how people think, how businesses grow, and why some systems work while others create unnecessary complexity.

I've worked across analytics, public policy, SaaS, customer success, consulting, and entrepreneurship, which is probably why I approach AI from a business perspective first and a technology perspective second.

When I'm not helping business owners simplify their work, you'll usually find me planning my next trip, reading, or testing new AI workflows so you don't have to.

Ready to stop chasing AI hype?

Let's figure out what actually makes sense for your business. No hype. No fear tactics. No shiny objects. Just practical AI guidance.
